What do you do everyday?

Grammar - A1-A2 | Beginner Level

Description

In this engaging and interactive session, participants will explore the topic of daily routines while learning how to effectively use adverbs of frequency to describe habitual actions. The session is designed to help learners build their vocabulary, improve sentence structure, and develop greater fluency in speaking and writing about everyday activities. We will begin with a warm-up activity where learners share a few things they typically do each day. This will set the context for discussing common daily activities such as waking up, eating meals, going to work or school, and relaxing in the evening. A vocabulary-building exercise will follow, introducing useful expressions and phrases related to routine tasks.Next, the focus will shift to adverbs of frequency—such as always, usually, often, sometimes, rarely, and never—which are essential for expressing how often an activity takes place. Through guided practice, students will learn proper word order and placement of these adverbs in sentences. For example: “I always eat breakfast at 7 a.m.” or “She rarely goes to bed late.”Interactive pair and group activities will give learners the opportunity to ask and answer questions about their routines, compare habits with classmates, and complete short dialogues or role-plays. These tasks are designed to reinforce usage in real-life contexts and build confidence in speaking.By the end of the session, participants will be able to confidently describe their own daily routines and ask others about theirs, using adverbs of frequency with greater accuracy and fluency. The session promotes practical language use, encourages personal expression, and lays a strong foundation for discussing time-related topics in English.
