The Danger of Thinking You’re Right

The Danger of Thinking You’re Right

Conversation - B2-C1 | Advance Level

Description

Robert Greene once said that incompetent people cause more harm than evil ones. Why? Because they act with conviction, even when they’re wrong. In this session, we’ll unpack what incompetence really means, how overconfidence blinds us, and why true wisdom might start with saying, “I don’t know.”We’ll reflect on:- The difference between stupidity and ignorance.- Why “knowing it all” is often a red flag.- How humility can make us better leaders, colleagues, and humans.- Ways to deal with people who “think they know better.”This will be a thought-provoking and honest session where every opinion is welcome especially if it changes halfway through.
