Description

In this session, students will learn and use basic words to describe their favourite place or building. They’ll practise using there is / there are, adjectives, and simple sentences to talk about features and feelings. By the end, they will be able to describe a place clearly and confidently.

Session Activities

Question 1: What is your favourite time of day — morning, afternoon, or evening?

Question 2: What is one thing you like to do on the weekend?

Question 3: Do you like to go outside or stay indoors? Why?

Question 1: What is your favourite place or building?

Question 2: Where is it? (Which city, area, or country?)

Question 3: What does it look like? (big, small, tall, modern, old)

Question 4: What can you see inside or around it?

Question 5: What do you like doing there?

Question 6: When do you go there — every day, sometimes, or only on holidays?

Question 7: Who do you go there with?

Question 8: Why is it special to you?
