Description

In this session, we will explore how people use their face, hands, and body to send messages without speaking. Students will practise describing simple gestures and learn how to use basic vocabulary to explain feelings and actions. By the end, they will feel more confident understanding and using non-verbal communication in daily life.

Session Activities

Question 1: Can you show us your favourite hand gesture? (Wave, thumbs up, peace sign, etc.)

Question 2: When you are tired, what does your body look like? Can you describe it?

Question 1: How do you say “hello” without words?

Question 2: What face do you make when you are angry?

Question 3: How do you show “yes” or “no” without speaking?

Question 4: Can you show a gesture that means “stop”?

Question 5: How do you show someone you are happy without words?

Question 6: What gesture do you use when you don’t understand something?

Question 7: How do you tell someone to “be quiet” without words?

Question 8: What body language shows that a person is sad?
