How we say something is just as important as the words we choose. In this session, we’ll explore how your voice, tone, speed, pauses, and facial expressions can change the message.

In this session, we will:

- Practice using your voice to express emotion and clarity
- Play with melody, speed, and pauses to sound more confident
- Understand the power of silence and expression in conversation
- Reflect on what makes someone sound engaging and present

This session is all about discovering your vocal presence, feeling more in control when you speak, and making your message truly land.

1. Have you ever listened to someone and felt instantly calm or excited? Why?

2. What do you notice first in someone’s voice when they speak?

3. Do you like your own voice? Why or why not?

1. What makes a speaker interesting to listen to? → Try answering with big facial expressions!

2. Tell us something you love. → Say it like you’re very angry!

3. Tell something simple you did today, but make it sound dramatic. → Use a rising melody and varied tone!

4. What’s a boring task you have to do every week? → Say it once with a flat tone, then again with exaggerated energy!

5. Can you tell about a happy memory without smiling? → Now try again with facial expression. What’s the difference?

6. Share a fun fact about yourself. → Add a pause after every word for suspense.

7. Do you think communication style is more important than perfect grammar? Why or why not? → Use a confident voice and take your time to pause. (Don't use filler words!)
