Description

Language changes over time, and one of the ways it’s changing today is through the use of inclusive pronouns. In this session, we’ll explore how English is adapting to include people of different gender identities and why some speakers choose they/them or other neutral forms.

Together, we will:
- Learn vocabulary and expressions related to gender identity and language
- Explore the meaning and use of inclusive pronouns like they, ze, or Mx.
- Reflect on how language can include or exclude people
- Discuss how we feel about these changes and what they mean for communication

This class is not about right or wrong. It’s about listening, understanding, and having a safe, respectful conversation about how language helps us connect.
