Talk 4 Impact stands with Orphans in Africa,
Falling from Paradise

Falling from Paradise

Conversation - B2-C1 | Advance Level

Description

In this session, we’ll explore Paradise Lost, the epic poem by John Milton that reimagines the fall of Lucifer, the temptation of Adam and Eve, and the cost of disobedience.

But we won’t focus on religion instead, we’ll reflect on the deeper questions behind the story:

- What does it mean to rebel against power or authority?
- Is it better to follow blindly or to think for yourself?
- Can someone be both heroic and flawed at the same time?

We’ll dive into this timeless story and explore how it speaks to modern struggles between freedom and control, good and evil, knowledge and innocence.

This will be a thoughtful, philosophical, and respectful session where we explore ideas rather than beliefs.
