In this session, learners will practice talking about places they live and have lived before. The focus will be on sharing simple ideas about what they like and don’t like in their town, city, or neighbourhood. Students will use everyday vocabulary to describe places, such as “quiet,” “busy,” “beautiful,” or “expensive.” They will also practice using basic sentence patterns like “I like… because…” and “I don’t like… because…” to give reasons for their opinions. The conversation will include opportunities for learners to compare their current place with other places they know, helping them express similarities and differences. Through guided questions and group discussion, learners will build confidence in speaking and listening, while also learning more about each other’s experiences. This activity will encourage learners to express personal opinions, ask questions, and engage in a friendly, supportive conversation.
