In this lesson, students will discuss what makes them anxious, and how we could control this.
They will first view images that may generate anxiety and discuss which images are the worst for making them nervous.
After, they will discuss some lead-in questions before viewing the following video - which is about 'How to manage anxiety.'
The video will text students ideas made previous to the video and will introduce the next phase of the lesson, which is vocabulary.

4: Have you ever panicked in an important situation? (What happened?)

Overwhelmed

Feeling sudden, strong emotion that you can't control.

Trigger

To cause a strong emotional reaction of fear, anger or worry.

Calm down

To stop feeling a strong emotion, such as anger, fear or excitement.

Overthink

To think about something too much.

On edge

Nervous, not relaxed.

Reassure

To comfort someone and stop them from worrying.

Unwind

To relax, especially after work.
