Talk 4 Impact stands with Orphans in Africa,
After the Climb

After the Climb

Conversation - B2-C1 | Advance Level

Description

In this session, we’ll reflect on what it means to invest deeply in our goals, our relationships, and ourselves, and what happens after we succeed or lose something we love. Inspired by the metaphor of Sisyphus, the ancient figure condemned to an endless climb, and the modern experience of post-achievement emptiness, we'll discuss:

- Why reaching a goal can leave us feeling empty
- What love teaches us about vulnerability and loss
- How suffering or striving becomes part of our identity
- And how to redefine meaning after “what’s next?”

This will be a thoughtful, emotional, and intimate space where we’ll explore the beautiful, painful depths of being human.
